The PlantUP digital platform, which presents free information on which are the best cultivars in your region, at which planting time and plant population present the best productive performances, now also allows farmers to choose the soybean cultivar according to resistance characteristics to nematodes and diseases. The new feature allows you to see their performance in plots that had these problems, further increasing your assertiveness in your choice. In the cultivar catalog available on PlantUP, there is a complete list of soybean cultivars of all genetics on the market.

Developed by the ATTO Group, PlantUP presents a series of information that helps farmers make decisions in the field. The platform, which can be accessed via the website meuplantup.com or via the Android and iOS app, it already has 12 million hectares for analysis and more than 1,7 registered farmers from more than 340 municipalities in Brazil.

In the catalogue, soybean cultivars are classified, for example, by resistance to nematodes and diseases. “The farmer can select the problem he has on his property, and the platform delivers a list of cultivar options that present some type of resistance to that problem. Along with this, in the visions, the farmer can filter the plots that had nematode problems and see if the selected cultivar confirms itself as a good option”, says Odilio Balbinotti Filho, CEO of Grupo ATTO

View of the crop

The newest technology builds on performance fields previously entered into the platform. The farmer already had the possibility of informing whether a certain area has the presence of nematodes and what their pressure is, with filters that allow him to know which cultivars are resistant to the worms and which of them had the best performances.

Another tool that expands the farmer's view of their crops is the “predecessor crop”, where it is possible to register the crop previously planted in that plot and, with this, have the option of comparing the productivity of their main crop on different straws or others. cultures that were used.

Furthermore, the farmer has the option of indicating whether a given plot presented any type of “productivity limitation” such as, for example, climate, fertility or management. This will also help to refine and better understand some results when analyzing the region.

Decision on agricultural production

Launched less than two years ago, PlantUP has more than 10 million registered hectares of soybeans, more than 1,7 million of corn and almost 315 thousand of cotton, located in 340 municipalities in Brazil and Paraguay. The platform arose from the need for farmers to have reliable information to decide on agricultural production, since, for example, 150 soybean and 350 corn cultivars are launched annually in Brazil alone. Currently, PlantUP has results for 462 corn cultivars, 481 soybean cultivars, and 34 cotton cultivars.

With the platform, farmers can discover, based on the region where their areas are located, the most productive cultivars, the best planting time, the most promising cultivars, those that develop best in each type of soil, the best population for each of them and their position in the productivity ranking of the region, made up of five to six municipalities surrounding their property.

All registered information goes through a strict security system. PlantUP keeps released data reliable and secure through advanced validation algorithms, a strict audit process, encryption and anonymity of information.

Any and all farmers can have free access to the PlantUP platform via the website meuplantup.com, regardless of the size of the property and the level of technology applied. Additionally, it can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
