Planting event takes place in MT

The team from the Mato Grosso Agricultural Research Support Foundation, Fundação MT, has been on the road since Monday, disseminating agricultural technology to the entire producing class of Mato Grosso. On the agenda, disease management, production systems and forecasting of climatic conditions, extremely important issues to be debated in the period leading up to planting.

“Being close to rural producers and their entire team at the right time and at the exact moment is what Fundação MT has done for 25 years. So once again we are taking information, generating data and making technical recommendations based on research results. We want to help the producing class to reduce the impacts of crop limiting factors and reap good results in the next harvest”, emphasized Leandro Zancanaro, technical manager at Fundação MT.

All of the lectures at Fundação MT em Campo: É Hora de Plantar are pillars for the “Discussion for harvest planning” which is the theme of this edition of the event. Two researchers from Fundação MT and two more consultants from two different companies are part of the technical team for the agricultural tour that will visit ten cities in Mato Grosso, representing the main soy producing municipalities in the state.

At the event, the participant listens to the lecture, but also interacts with the expert through questions and reports on experiences from his production. This moment of interaction with clarification of doubts, questions and exchange of information is considered very valuable for everyone present. “It is there that we can talk face to face and also capture the real needs of the producer and his team”, says Zancanaro.
