Planter and tractors will be Valtra's highlights at the Bahia Farm Show

Valtra will take its product portfolio to the Bahia Farm Show. The event, which takes place in the municipality of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, from May 28th to June 1st, will host the Momentum folding planter, a highlight at the biggest agribusiness fairs in South America, in addition to the Valtra tractor lines and the new sprayer from brand, the BS3330H.

The importance of the state of Bahia and the region known as MATOPIBA for Brazilian agribusiness is growing. The Momentum is foldable, making it just 3,6 meters wide when closed, which makes it easier to transport on the road. Furthermore, the equipment has 100% Precision Planting technology, with a Vset2 seed meter, vDrive row control system and 2020 Seedsense Generation 3 monitor. Momentum comes with versions of 24, 30 and 40 rows at 45cm spacing. The Momentum seed box has a capacity of 5.130 liters of seeds.

Thanks to ease of transportation and maintenance, Momentum gives farmers the chance to make better use of short planting windows. The implement has only one lubrication point in the entire planter, and all other bushings on the machine are “Infinity”, high resistance and self-lubricating. The bearings are shielded. More suitable for large properties, the Momentum can be transported on flatbed trucks just by removing two wheels and two lines from the central support, leaving it just 3 meters wide, which eliminates the need for the use of beaters.

The new equipment hits the market in the 3.500 liter segment and has a 32 meter spray bar. The BS3335H brings a new spray bar concept, for better distribution and deposition of drops.

Another of the main novelties is the frame with a roller pendulum system. It is a double-action cylinder, which acts on the frame's pendulum and ensures that the bar remains stable, ensuring a uniform height between the spray fan and the target to receive the application.

The new spray bar also comes with developments that provide more protection and durability to the equipment. Horizontal suspension transfers the load between the bars and improves the machine's stability. The multidirectional release of the 3-meter bar tip prevents possible impacts during work from damaging the bar. To avoid waste, the BS3335H has ProStop pneumatic valves, which activate instantly, with a response time of 0,8 seconds.

The BS3335H has a flexible chassis and low operating weight, which benefits work in different soil and topography conditions, and a 200 hp AGCO Power engine. In addition, the new sprayer has models with a clearance of 1,50 to 1,65 meters, 4x4 traction and flexible chassis, which also contribute to the sprayer's performance on any terrain. It can be equipped with the Auto-Guide 3000 autopilot, available in two levels of precision – decimeter and centimeter –, being able to guarantee the equipment precise application without waste.

The BH HiTech series features the HiTech3 PowerShift transmission with automatic shifting within groups, with 18 forward and 18 reverse speeds. The Powershift transmission can be operated manually with speed changes using buttons or through one of the two automatic programming modes, which change the speed automatically, according to the pre-defined speed. The HiTech3 transmission stands out in operations that require gear changes, maintaining high productivity in the field and with the simplicity that is characteristic of the entire BH and BH HiTech Line. Another highlight is the electro-hydraulic Power Shuttle reverser, which allows driving directions to be changed using a lever, without the need to activate the clutch. The transition is always made smoothly, quickly and with protection, where only below 2 km/h the system reverses the direction of the machine. The BH HiTech series is made up of the BH144 (145 hp), BH154 (159 hp) and BH184 (180 hp) models with 4-cylinder engines and the BH174 (179 hp) and BH194 (195 hp) models with 6-cylinder engines.

A4 family 

Valtra also brings models from the Generation 4 family to the fair. The A4s series tractors have 75 hp and 95 hp and a compact chassis, ideal for small and medium-sized properties or operations that require lower power. The A94 and A104 models, from the A4 Series, are suitable for medium power, offering 95 hp and 105 hp, respectively.

Available in cab and platform versions, the tractors in this family have a 12+12 or 24+24 mechanical transmission, with the best gear shifting on the market, and electro-hydraulic reverser PowerShuttle, which provides gains in agility during maneuvers, in addition to adjusting the starting sensitivity, depending on the type of operation.

The A4 family also has the system HiShift, which allows the operator to change gears by pressing a button on the gear lever, without the need to use the clutch pedal, providing smoother coupling and easier operation. Another novelty that increases the versatility of the machines is the reducer Super Creeper, which allows operations at a minimum speed of 0,15 km/h.

Best-in-class ergonomics, combined with a low noise level (75 dB), guarantee a comfortable experience in any situation. The cab structure is narrow at the front to facilitate driving in warehouse areas and allow excellent visibility during operations. As options, the producer has two hydraulic flows, 57 or 98 l/min, in addition to several remote control valve configuration options.

In addition to the HiTech4 automatic transmission differential, the A4 HiTech models are prepared to receive Fuse Technologies features, such as the Auto-Guide 3000 cruise control and telemetry control through AgCommand.

The T CVT series adds technology and robustness, with the CVT gearbox (continuously variable transmission, in English). The complete family has four models: T195 CVT (195 hp), T210 CVT (210 hp), T230 CVT (230 hp) and T250 CVT (250 hp). With a lifting capacity of up to 9.600 kg and a front hydraulic system with a capacity of 4.000 kg, the tractors can work in combined operations, increasing availability and productivity in the field.

The heavy-duty machine model has the best relationship between power and transmission, with maximized performance for long days in the field. The CVT transmission offers an unlimited number of speeds, is easy to operate and is free from operational failures. The T CVT series models have a pump with a hydraulic flow of 190 l/min, up to 4 electronic valves and a 4-speed TDP. Another highlight is the suspension on the front axle.

With greater front axle traction efficiency, the slip rate is reduced, increasing operational performance. The T family has a design that won three international awards: Design 2016 (Italy), Red Dot Design 2016 (Germany) and Good Design 2016 (USA and Europe). In 2015, the T series also received the title of Machine of the Year at the Sima Show, in the 182 to 284 hp category.

The BC6800 and BC8800 axial models have electronic motors with SCR technology, in compliance with MAR-1 environmental legislation. The axial processing system also has the largest rotor on the market, concave with suspension and larger threshing and separation areas, which generates greater harvesting capacity for all types of crops.

The 800 line axial machines have the exclusive V-Flow cooling system, which eliminates the need for daily maintenance, and the highest discharge speed in the world, which reaches 150 L/s in classes 7 and 8. With these benefits, The 800 series combines guarantee fuel savings and less downtime. At Expodireto Cotrijal 2019, Valtra will have at its stand the BC6800 models, with a 15-row corn platform, and the BC8800, with a 45 ft Draper soybean platform.
