Producers who were present at the 21st edition of Expodireto Cotrijal, which will be held from March 2nd to 6th, in Não-Me-Toque/RS, will be able to see the newest launch for irrigation of small areas up close. The 7500P Zimmatic by Lindsay pivot is the ideal solution for areas of up to 24 hectares.

The Zimmatic 7500P is a solution made for small producers and small areas that need a good return on investment and where high maintenance costs cannot be part of their daily routine. With 3,20 meters of free height and tubing ideal for smaller pivots, with 114 mm in diameter, the 7500P offers the necessary conditions to irrigate taller crops such as corn and sorghum, with the strength and resistance known from Zimmatic irrigation products.

The 7500P also has a lighter structure that will benefit fruit and vegetable producers of crops with high added value such as onions, garlic and carrots. The equipment still performs well in small dairy farming operations. “With a lower cost per hectare, the 7500P will help producers to be more assertive in the irrigated area while minimizing costs”, says Leandro Preuss, regional sales manager at Lindsay.

The launch of the new solution comes to meet the increasing demand for irrigation and aims mainly to serve not only large producers or areas, but also small operations. “The pivot is an extremely profitable, efficient and versatile way of irrigating these operations with a better return on investment”, highlights the manager.

Remote control

Another great advantage of the 7500P is that it also has Zimmatic control panels available and can be remotely managed with FieldNET with additional hardware. In other words, the producer will have fully integrated wireless management technology, which allows him to monitor irrigation at any time, providing increased productivity by better utilizing natural resources.

FieldNET allows you to view and control systems from virtually anywhere. From remote access, whether via smartphone or tablet, the tool enables the creation of variable rate irrigation plans, which define stops and movements, create usage reports, monitor performance and gains throughout the operation and even pass real-time updates and alerts. “Our customers will be able to use the same technology they are used to without losing any quality. The only difference is that now they will have the ideal equipment for small areas”, concludes Preuss.
