In the current pandemic, Pioneer, a seed brand from Corteva Agriscience, promotes virtual field days focusing on soybeans, corn and silage so that farmers, technicians and agronomists can follow directly from their homes, safely and conveniently. Services promoted by agribusiness were considered essential activities by the Federal Government to face the crisis caused by the coronavirus in the country. Therefore, Corteva Agriscience and its brands are proposing new ways for farmers to stay informed and prepare at a time when society needs even more of them.

“Pioneer has always been at the side of producers and this moment would be no different. With virtual field days we were able to share knowledge about correct management, the market and present the brand's launches and highlights for the main producing regions in the country”, says Ecli Avila, Pioneer's Marketing Leader for Brazil and Paraguay.

During the virtual field days, the brand is bringing launches of soybean cultivars with a high production ceiling, which offer several advantages to the producer, such as, for example, the 95Y02IPRO soybean variety, the fastest on the market, which has the advantage of the cycle 105 days from planting to harvest, which allows for early planting and harvesting.

For the corn market, Pioneer offers a complete portfolio, with hybrids with high stability, precocity and high production potential. In this last harvest, farmers in the South reached 300 bags per hectare with Pioneer products, exceeding market expectations for this region.

In silage, the brand highlights the “A Força da Silagem” platform, through the five steps that must be followed by the producer: planting quality, crop management, harvesting, ensiling and nutrition; and indicates hybrids with wide geographic adaptation, high green matter potential and high milk production capacity, in addition to inoculants that help preserve the material after opening the silo.

Pioneer's virtual field day focusing on the southern region of the country can now be seen on link. Soon, content from other regions of Brazil will be made available on the same channel.
