Pioneer promotes the 20th edition of the Team of Diffusers event with the theme “Technology and Innovation that make Agro grow”

Meeting brought together leading agribusiness experts to debate the future of the sector

Pioneer, a Corteva Agriscience seed brand, held the 9th edition of the Time of Diffusers event on Thursday, September 20th. For the second time in a virtual format, the meeting had more than 2.000 registrants. Through this project, the brand shares technical and business information about technology, market and trends, first-hand, with customers and partners who disseminate the knowledge obtained with the agricultural community in their regions. Over two decades, the project has brought together more than 45 thousand people.

The event, in talk show format, was divided into two parts. The first addressed the essential role of technology and innovation in agribusiness, debated digital agriculture, genetics, cutting-edge research and sustainability, and was attended by Celso Moretti, president of Embrapa; Paulo Herrmann, president of John Deere; Sandra Milach, global research leader at Corteva; and Carlos Hentschke, Vice President of Business at Corteva.

In the second part, the topics discussed were innovation in the digital transformation scenario that accelerates changes in the world, the possibilities of public policies aimed at new technologies in the field and innovation and technology in the path of Pioneer seeds. Participating in the debate were Sibelle Silva, director of Innovation at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA); Ronaldo Lemos, professor and specialist in topics such as technology, innovation and media; Frederico Barreto, leader of Sementes da Corteva; and Ecli Ávila, Pioneer Leader for Brazil and Paraguay. 

Finally, the event highlighted testimonies from producers, researchers and experts about expectations for the future of agribusiness. “We are very happy to promote the 20th edition of the Time de Difusores event, bringing such relevant content to the sector. Over the last two decades, the project has monitored, recorded, encouraged and contributed to the success of agribusiness in the country” concludes Frederico Barreto, Seeds leader at Corteva Agriscience.
