Pioneer, Corteva's seed brand, presents TSI Soja Completa, an industrial seed treatment that offers soybean farmers the combination of genetics with biotechnology, technical knowledge, operational capacity and superior assets on the market. The objective is to facilitate the work of Brazilian farmers, delivering a more complete seed that is completely ready for planting.

“TSI Soja Completa facilitates the producer's operational process, prevents him from being exposed to seed treatment carried out on the farm and eliminates the risks of mixing sieves and cultivars. The technology also provides greater germination, storage longevity and crop uniformity, in addition to protecting production potential”, says Ivo Lersch Junior, Industrial Seed Treatment Leader at Corteva Agriscience.

To achieve this result, the professionals at Pioneer assessed the producers' main needs and technically identified how and with which products it would be possible to deliver an even more complete soybean seed. This study was carried out at the Seed Treatment Technology Center (CSAT), in Formosa (GO), Corteva's first in Latin America and the second in the world.

In addition to the high performance products already used by the brand in seed treatment (fungicide Rancona T and insecticide Dermacor), Pioneer partnered with Rizobacter, a company recognized globally for producing inoculants, to add to TSI Soja Completa the Rizoliq LLI, which benefits the crop in 60 days of pre-inoculation. The new treatment also includes bacterial protector premax, which helps in the fixation and life of the bacteria, and the Rizomicro CoMo, a source of high concentration of Cobalt and Molybdenum that complements the greatest needs of producers.

“More than 70% of farmers add inoculants to industrially treated soybean seed, which usually causes a decrease in the active ingredient previously applied and accelerates the loss of seed quality. After three years of study, Pioneer is a pioneer in offering a seed that allows the producer to simply open the packaging and plant. Our next step is to soon offer new complete solutions focused on the needs of each region”, adds Ivo.
