Pioneer presents the corn hybrid P1972VYHR, which celebrates the year of the brand's arrival in the country. The product has a hyper-early cycle, between 112 and 119 days, offers high productive potential, defensiveness, stay green (which allows the maintenance of the plant's green color even at an advanced stage of maturation), silage quality and is recommended for the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná.

“In addition to being a leader in summer and off-season corn for 17 years in Brazil, the brand is a pioneer in bringing knowledge, technology and services to producers. The concept of hyperprecocity was created by Pioneer and we continue to invest in innovation to have even shorter cycles. The P1972VYHR allows producers to produce more in less time, which increases their productivity and profitability” says Ecli Ávila, Pioneer Marketing Leader for Brazil and Paraguay.

The launch also features Leptra technology, made up of three insecticidal proteins (Cry1F, Cry1Ab and Vip3Aa20), which helps protect against the main caterpillars that attack corn crops.
