I Application Technology Field Day brings together around 200 people
Event took place in Bebedouro (SP)
Piccin Implementos Agrícolas, from São Carlos-SP, has been operating in the soil preparation market for 56 years and once again innovates and launches technology to benefit the producer. The new feature is the Master 15000 Fulltech, a distributor with high load capacity for the application of any type of material, gypsum, limestone, organics and chemicals, equipped with standard ISOBUS technology and a controller system with load cells that maintains the application dosage in time real. “The implement continuously adjusts the target application rate, performs constant weight measurement and consequently generates a self-calibration of the product in relation to the floor speed and control of up to 12 sections with plate monitoring”, explains the Precision Agriculture Technician, Paulo Padilha.
The distributor will be launched during Agrishow 2019, which takes place from April 29th to May 3rd in Ribeirão Preto-SP. As Padilha highlights, the equipment reacts quickly to changes in product characteristics or distribution conditions without having to adjust or calibrate the machine, the producer only needs to enter the product density before starting the application. “The load cell self-calibrates every five seconds with an extremely low margin of error, less than 1%. Additionally, there is this control of up to 12 sections. This guarantees a more accurate and precise application, saving more product and time”, points out the technician.
“We are always seeking to provide our customers with innovative products that help them achieve the best possible results. Therefore, the use of technology becomes essential for improving performance in agriculture. We understand that results today depend directly on new technological resources in addition to the producer's knowledge and updating. Faced with this, Piccin once again sought to meet our customers' demand for more modern equipment, with technology and quality”, says the company's commercial director, Ligia Peccin.
In addition to the Master 15000 Fulltech, Piccin also took to the event, the recently launched Master 10000 D fertilizer and limestone distributor, which is suitable for applying soil improvers. The equipment has a centrifugal application system with belt drive, providing homogeneous distribution with low maintenance costs.
As explained by the company's Precision Agriculture Technician, Paulo Padilha, this implement has a conveyor belt with three speed options, which combined with the adjustment of the flow port, offer precision and a wide range of adjustment of the dosage of the product being used. . The conveyor belt fairing system allows the distributor to work with both an 80cm belt (organic) and a 40cm belt (limestone and granules), a Piccin system. “This provides the farmer with work flexibility”, he adds.
