PHC presents peptide solutions in the South of Minas Gerais

During the 21st edition of the Coopama Business Fair (Fenec) in Machado, Minas Gerais, Plant Health Care (PHC) will present, for the first time in southern Minas Gerais, its technologies based on elicitor peptides, aimed at controlling foliar diseases and nematodes. The event will take place from August 21st to 23rd.

PHC, a global company within the PI Industries group, is a leader in sustainable solutions for biostimulation and crop protection. Operating in Brazil since 2015, the company invests in regenerative technologies that combine productivity, sustainability, and food safety.

Technologies presented

PHC's solutions are developed with PREtec technology, the result of over 10 years of research and development. Produced from natural elicitor proteins, the peptides are residue-free and compatible with conventional management, acting selectively against microorganisms that are harmful to plants.

At Fenec, the company will bring four products:

• HPlant – bioactivator that promotes vigor, resistance to climatic stresses and soybean productivity.
• Saori – biochemical fungicide for seed treatment, focusing on controlling foliar diseases in soybeans.
• Teikko – biochemical nematicide for controlling nematodes in soybeans, with ease of use and proven efficiency.
• Moshy – biochemical foliar fungicide for coffee and sugarcane, an alternative to conventional control and without residues.

Sustainability and performance

According to the company, the adoption of peptides helps mitigate the negative effects of adverse weather conditions, in addition to offering greater safety and stability in production. Among the advantages are the contribution to resistance management, the reduction of chemical residues, and the strengthening of crop health.
