To celebrate Pulse's five years on the market, Raízen's innovation hub and one of the great drivers of open innovation in Brazil, promoted a recognition session for partner startups.
Pulse focuses on the development of these companies, opening space for the creation of technologies and proposing a process for exchanging ideas and information. All of this to enable an ecosystem of solutions that can be applied to the different areas of activity of Raízen and its partners. It brings together startups, universities, investors, executives and organizations that want to come together to shape a better future, based on innovation.
The hub has projects that generate positive socioeconomic and environmental impacts for all areas of the company's operations, such as logistics, fuel distribution and transportation, in addition to renewable energy.
Perfect Flight, a Brazilian agtech specialist in precision agriculture through spray management and traceability, which has the largest aerial spraying database in the world, was one of the startups recognized during the event. Agtech was awarded in the "ESG Recognition" category.
"Our history has a lot to do with the Pulse Innovation Hub. We grew with them during these five years of the hub's trajectory. This recognition crowned our partnership. We were one of the first partner startups. A solution that adds value for Raízen and especially for us . This was an opportunity for us to place our product on the national and international market. We know that this is Pulse's mission, to create connections and find solutions to Raízen's challenges that can benefit the entire sector. We were very proud to be able to be part of this ", said Leonardo Luvezuti, Business Director at Perfect Flight.
The startups SoluBio, a biotechnology company for the production of bio-inputs, and Sardrones, which uses drones to disperse biological agents, were also honored in the same category for the contribution of their sustainable solutions to Raízen's operations.
“With diverse applications, agtechs optimize operational routines, help reduce costs and improve decision-making. In addition to allowing precision agriculture to be carried out, they also contribute to more environmentally precise production and better use of natural resources. And that is what we are managing to achieve with Perfect Flight's solution in Raízen's production areas and the company's sugarcane suppliers”, says Ricardo Campo, digital innovation coordinator at Raízen and Pulse manager.
