Next Saturday (15/01), Igor Rezende Coelho, International Sales Leader at Perfect Flight, a Brazilian startup that developed the most complete aerial spraying management and traceability platform in the world, will present a lecture on the “New Era of Agricultural Spraying” . The event is part of the Rio Innovation Week program, which takes place from January 13th, in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Considered the most complete meeting in the areas of technology and innovation in Latin America, Rio Innovation Week brings together entrepreneurs, investors and executives with the aim of boosting business, generating new opportunities and connecting sectors and investors in the segment.
Throughout the lecture, in addition to addressing the new methodologies and techniques used to apply agricultural pesticides with greater environmental safety, Igor Rezende will also present the Perfect Flight application to the audience. The system uses software and instruments to monitor in real time, and precisely, the application of inputs in planting areas.
The technology used by Perfect Flight allows aerial application of agricultural pesticides with greater precision. In this way, it prevents forests, open fields, rivers, pastures and areas inhabited by communities from being unduly affected. Furthermore, the reduction in flight time directly contributes to lower emissions of polluting gases released by aircraft. Today the Perfect Flight system has more than 20 million hectares digitized and monitored.
“The Perfect Flight challenge arises from our commitment to feeding the world. We do this by taking care of one of the most critical steps in the food chain: spraying. Through technology, we bring precision so that this process happens in the right way, in the exact areas, in a safe, reliable and sustainable way”, says Kriss Corso, CEO and co-founder of Perfect Flight.
Technology is in the DNA of the company, which was one of those selected in the first edition focused solely on agtechs of the Google for Startups Accelerator. That's why, according to Igor Rezende, international sales leader at Perfect Flight, the company's participation in Rio Innovation Week is so important. After all, according to the businessman, nowadays few organizations show that they are paying attention to issues such as soil quality, the farmer's pocket and, mainly, the health of the consumer.
“Having the opportunity to present Perfect Flight to a range of entrepreneurs and investors in an event with relevance in the segment, and show how much we care about the sustainability of soils, rivers, oceans, as well as food security, makes us relevant in the market ”, says Igor.
