UPL's portfolio of agricultural solutions is now available for sale online. The company becomes part of the AgriAcordo marketplace. On the platform, the multinational can offer and negotiate part of its portfolio that reaches 14 thousand records.

For Renato Seraphim, CMO at UPL, the decision to participate in the startup is related to approaching companies in an easier, digital way, and makes sense with the company's constant focus on innovation.

“It is an innovative possibility that we want to add to the other sales formats we have and, together with our distributors, manage better high-end prices, reduce stocks, improve the life cycle management of our products, in addition to improving our connection as an industry. with the sector responsible for ¼ of Brazilian wealth”, points out the executive.

Renato adds that UPL is constantly looking to the future and how to expand and innovate communication capacity and reach in agribusiness and, at the end of the chain, with farmers, who are responsible for 25% of Brazilian GDP.

“I am well aware of the potential of AgriAcordo, a collaborative network for collecting and organizing data, and I know very well how much it is helping distributors to manage their stocks and increase their ability to connect with other peers, seeking better negotiations . And thinking about existing technologies, we want this to help us increasingly be a company that does not want to place products in the distributor's stocks, but that, with the support of data, wants to help them place our solutions in the farmer's field” highlights the CMO of UPL.

In addition to the possibility of negotiations between different regions of the Brazilian territory, the UPL becomes part of the price history available on the marketplace. This is a solution that contributes to the daily lives of cooperatives and resellers, who can consult and analyze data on all products offered and purchased since the tool began. This way, anyone registered with AgriAcordo can have easy access to real, non-speculative information, as is common in the input market.

“For us, it is a very important step to have UPL among the companies that trade on the platform, the company trusts in our work and growth. After 18 months in Brazil, the unprecedented partnership shows the security that other companies can have with us”, comments Julio Zavala, director of the startup.

With the entry of UPL, AgriAcordo now has 460 registered companies. The solution for digitizing commercial relationships between those who sell and buy agricultural inputs is unique in the country. Responsible for R$980 million in volume of product offers and R$260 million in demands, the startup has already completed 150 successful operations.

“When we developed the technological solution we wanted to improve companies' ability to do business, then we created the demand panel to offer price history with real and concrete information, so today we consider ourselves a data company, as our market work and technology work together”, highlights Zavala.
