Partnership between Natutec and Perfect Flight has already monitored more than 360 thousand hectares in four months

To improve rural producers' experience in the release of macrobiologicals, Natutec – Koppert's drone company – entered into a partnership with the startup Perfect Flight. All flights made by Natutec now have monitoring and tracking solutions offered by agtech. Since the beginning of the partnership, in January this year, 360,5 thousand hectares of sugarcane have been tracked and monitored, which received the release of the macrobiologicals Cotesia flavipes and Trichogramma galloi.

With this new technology, the producer now has a practically automated report of the activities on his property, with information such as application map, operator, equipment, doses and hectares treated. In the first quarter of this year, 4.137 reports were generated, which are available to the customer on the platform within 2 minutes. “This way, the assertiveness and tracking of applications are guaranteed. This way, the customer can be sure of the quality of the service provided and after the flight”, explains Natutec operations manager, Edmilson Ruiz.

“We monitor the release of macrobiologicals and the main contracted service is the automation of the report delivered to the producer. All analyses, all data crossed with numbers and accessible information for decision-making, quickly reach farmers”, explained Kriss Corso, CEO of Perfect Flight.

Furthermore, the startup dynamically reads the entire area of ​​application of the bioinput, considering external factors such as weather conditions, to determine the best moment and pattern of application.

For Ismael Ferreira Rodrigues, phytotechnics leader at Usina Batatais, the new technology guarantees that the application was carried out correctly. “It is a very interesting novelty, which offers excellent viewing via smartphone”, he explains.

The partnership is part of the activities of Gazebo, Koppert's innovation hub, focused on biological control technologies, of which Perfect Flight is a resident.
