Inoculants in soybean cultivation can generate savings
According to Paula Cerezini, inoculant product analyst at Rizobacter do Brasil, the use of inoculants makes agriculture more sustainable and economically viable.
The panel “Adjuvants and the Quality of Agricultural Spraying” will take place on November 8th (Tuesday), starting at 18:00 pm, broadcast on YouTube. The meeting, free (registration open), will bring together experts André Rossi, Hamilton Ramos, Maickon Balator and Paulo Bettini and aims to analyze benefits and risks associated with agricultural adjuvants. Such products, in short, can determine success or failure in controlling pests, diseases and weeds in the main crops.
Agricultural adjuvants are inputs mixed with agricultural pesticide mixture, aiming, in theory, to increase the effectiveness of crop treatments. “Unlike pesticides, adjuvants do not require official registration. This loophole brings risks in relation to the quality of adjuvants sold to farmers”, summarizes researcher Hamilton Ramos, coordinator of the event.
Ramos has been leading the “Adjuvantes da Pulverização” project for almost 17 years. The program unites the Engineering and Automation Center (CEA) of Jundiaí (SP), the Agronomic Institute (IAC) and the private sector. The CEA-IAC is linked to the Department of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo.
André Rossi, from Coopercitrus, will address recommendations observed by the cooperative, one of the largest in the country, with a view to the use of adjuvants in strategic agricultural crops. Technical market development manager, he is an agronomist with an MBA in Agribusiness Management. Coopercitrus currently has more than 35 thousand members.
Specialist in sugarcane agroindustry, plant nutrition, soil fertility and application technology, panelist Maickon Balator will talk about the vision of the adjuvant industry in the face of different technological scenarios in Brazilian agriculture. Balator holds the position of application technology manager for the Vittia group, a manufacturer of high-tech inputs.
Panelist Paulo Bettini is the owner of Terra Pesquisa e Crédito Agrícola, specialized in agricultural research. Also an agronomist, as well as a master in agronomy (agricultural machinery), Bettini will list fundamentals and measures to promote the correct use of adjuvants on properties, from technical aspects and product quality to safety measures.
The event will be open and those interested in attending must register at website, until November 07th (Monday) or also on link available here.

Studies in the interior of São Paulo indicate a reduction in emissions of around 3,5 thousand kg per hectare of CO2 equivalent; Implemented on a large scale, the system will include small and medium-sized producers in the emerging carbon credit market
The objective is to guide the management of the production chain of forests planted in the 2021/2022 harvest, so that rural producers have initial information about production systems
