Opting to outsource automobiles, machinery and agricultural equipment can represent savings of up to 25% for businesses in the sector, even in cases where the number of leased vehicles is small. The estimate is from Ouro Verde, a specialist in fleet management and outsourcing. In addition to saving resources, those who opt for this type of business have, among the advantages, the availability of up-to-date equipment and the reduction in the use of credit limits to purchase machinery.
The practice, already consolidated in the international market, is constantly growing in Brazil, being an alternative for companies of all segments and sizes. The savings with the alternative begin with the resources that would be allocated to investment in own vehicles, which, in this case, can be applied to innovations in the company. According to Ouro Verde's Light Fleet Manager, André Scotti, outsourcing also reduces the need for Working Capital and increases the company's liquidity index, by replacing capital immobilization with rental costs.
According to Scotti, companies linked to agribusiness can choose either to rent common cars for daily use, for administrative and commercial activities, or specific equipment for: transporting refrigerated cargo, planting grains, harvesting sugarcane, among others, for example . To carry out the operation, the company simply needs to have a National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ), making it possible to choose to rent a vehicle.
According to the general manager Ouro Verde heavy trucks, Marluz Renato Cariani, the flexibility in increasing the fleet of machines, the availability of these due to having a specialized company monitoring the process and maintenance periods, in addition to the reduction in the use of credit limits with the acquisition of equipment are the main advantages of outsourcing for agribusiness companies. “A great facility for the segment is to obtain, from a single supplier, 100% management and outsourcing of light and heavy fleets, machines and equipment”, he highlighted.
For companies that already have their own fleet and wish to migrate to the outsourced model, Ouro Verde has support that consists of purchasing the customer's vehicles. “One of the biggest problems for those who already have assets is being able to sell them. Thus, with this service, the entrepreneur can receive the value of the cars upfront or deduct the monthly payments for the fleet they decide to adopt”, explains Scotti.
Management
In addition to outsourcing, it is possible to hire a management service, which makes it possible for the fleet administrator to cross-reference important information, such as telemetry, which allows complete monitoring of the asset and identifies drivability deviations, and the fuel card, which monitors and controls supplies. Thus, it is possible to diagnose driver behavior, very focused on safety and, consequently, resulting in an even greater reduction in expenses.
