Technology is the main resource behind the great advances in national agriculture in recent years. In addition to being present in the products in the portfolio that Ourofino Agrociência develops, it will now be a factor in providing greater security in the application of the company's solutions. In partnership with Perfect Flight, a startup specialized in aerial spraying management, customers from all over Brazil and from the different crops for which the products are developed will have access to the management and monitoring system for spraying carried out by agricultural planes.

Named Segnus, the application technology program comes into action this month and aims to bring sustainability even more broadly to the field. Through the Perfect Flight system, which works to bring metrics and assertiveness to the monitoring of agricultural activity, it is possible to register areas of neighboring crops, permanent preservation (APPs), beehives and other systems of living organisms, having as one of the fundamental points environmental preservation.

In this context, the startup's tool generates a report that shows the safety parameters of restricted areas, in addition to contributing to correct application, which allows spraying without overlapping pesticides and with better quality. With all the advantages, Ourofino Agrociência joined Perfect Flight to reinforce the sustainable dissemination of the application of pesticides to its customers.

Climatic variations and characteristics, another important challenge for those working in the field, can also be monitored using the tool. This way, there is a financial gain on the properties. “Ourofino Agrociência produces reimagined solutions, which seek precisely to overcome the difficulties of tropical agriculture. Now, with the partner startup's system, we will offer an intelligence service that can reduce losses and mitigate drift”, points out Gustavo Prates Vigna, Sugarcane Culture and Segnus Program Manager at the company.

Leonardo Luvezuti, head of operations at Perfect Flight, highlights that it is very important to create new tools to increase control over applications, contributing to the environment and further reducing risks. “The Segnus Program, integrated into our software, provides better use of the product to be applied, as the system takes into account the calibration of the spray bar, and with this data in hand, the producer is able to measure the results of the products applied .”

Regarding the partnership, Leonardo states that there is synergy between the two companies. “Ourofino is seeking to increasingly bring the concept of sustainability to the field, which is closely related to our work, which is why this union has high expectations.”

Ourofino Agrociência also reinforces the value of the partnership, which summarizes the company's future paths towards sustainable agribusiness growth. “It is very important that the productivity and competitiveness of Brazilian agriculture continue on an upward trend, since Brazil occupies an important position in the world market. Sustainability has become a key factor for us to continue following this path in the company”, comments Vigna.

The program, which does not have a stipulated end date, is aimed at customers in the agricultural pesticide industry who use solutions intended for aerial spraying.
