Orbia, the largest agribusiness marketplace in Brazil, announces a partnership with Agrolend to offer credit to rural producers across the country directly through the platform. With this new feature, the customer now has this tool available, quickly, without bureaucracy and completely digitally.

“At Orbia, we have an ecosystem of solutions that covers all steps of the producer, from the moment of planting planning to the sale of commodities. Now we are also offering an agile and very simple credit solution to support our customers”, explains Adriana Iwassaki, CFO of Orbia. “The idea is for the producer to do everything simply and digitally, saving time in negotiations and purchases,” she says.

The credit solution will allow rural producers to plan the acquisition of pesticides and inputs for the 22/23 harvest, as well as for the following ones. “Our vision is that Brazilian agriculture can be as modern outside as it is inside, which is why we reinforce the digital revolution in the area of financing, attentive to the sector’s growing need for credit. The synergy of the partnership with Orbia will allow for a much greater reach of producers”, says André Glezer, CEO and co-founder of Agrolend.

With the Agrolend solution now available on the Orbia platform, it will be possible to take out credit in the palm of your hand at the end of the shopping journey on the marketplace. The analysis is carried out without bureaucracy, just with the customer's CPF number. Furthermore, the subscription is all done digitally and the rates are very competitive. “Agrolend’s value proposition is to bring a new experience to rural producers in taking out credit, without bureaucracy, 100% digital and at the speed the producer needs”, explains Glezer.

In general, a credit request at Agrolend can last up to 5 days, from request to receipt. In a traditional model, in which the farmer would need to go to a financial institution in person, the time is up to 20 times longer.
