Orbia, an agribusiness marketplace in Brazil, and Eisa (Empresa Interagrícola), a coffee and cotton trading company in the country and a subsidiary of the Swiss group Ecom, have signed a partnership for the digital marketing of coffee bars directly on the platform. With the new development, producers in Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Espírito Santo can now begin negotiations.

The barter can be made, through packages within the Orbia marketplace, for Arabica and Conilon coffees, in addition to having more than 70 Eisa warehouses and partners to deliver the product. The package is a feature made available so that distribution partners can send a personalized offer to producers. All negotiation of inputs and coffee sales will be done via Orbia. When accessing your negotiation link, the producer will have the exchange ratio calculated according to the price charged by EISA at that time. It will also be possible to close deals after stock market opening hours and during weekends, bringing more convenience to producers.

“Our synergy with Orbia can only bring advantages to agribusiness and rural producers, in addition to strengthening both companies. This is yet another innovation that we are offering to meet the needs of our customers. We are very excited to start this partnership with Orbia, which already has a very mature platform, knows the market and has been bringing results and added value to its partners”, says Carlos Santana, commercial director at Eisa.

With this partnership, Orbia follows its purpose of connecting rural producers to a wide network of market-leading partners to facilitate their processes, in addition to being able to count on all the expertise and credibility of one of the main coffee trading companies in the country.

“The partnership with Eisa is another important advance in the digitalization of the field, a movement that had already been happening and was accelerated in the last year. And Orbia has been the common thread that connects all agricultural actors in a single environment”, explains Ivan Moreno, CEO of Orbia. “From the rural producer's point of view, Orbia offers solutions for the entire harvest period digitally, from purchasing inputs on the platform, accumulating points in the loyalty program, exchanging for services during the harvest, to selling the harvest”, he adds.
