“For all producers who plant the future, you have a place, and that place is Expodireto Cotrijal''. With this welcoming message, the launch of the fair that is held annually in Não-Me-Toque, by the Cotrijal cooperative, was made official.
In its 24th edition, the exhibition seeks to bring together farmers, ranchers, authorities, researchers and the press from March 4th to 8th. The park of more than 130 hectares invites all visitors to immerse themselves in technologies, knowledge and businesses related to agriculture.
The launch ceremony was held on the morning of February 5th, at the Plaza São Rafael hotel, in the center of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. The event was attended by guests and the press, being broadcast live on Cotrijal's social networks.
The president of Cotrijal, Nei Cesar Manica (in the photo), highlighted the fair's commitment to showing Brazil and the world the importance and value of agriculture. He mentioned that the country is a global leader in the production and export of soybeans, sugar, coffee and orange juice and that every minute Brazilian agribusiness exports R$1,6 million.
“Our fair was created in 2000 for farmers, bringing together all the solutions they need. We want to continue working and contributing so that society knows us and increasingly recognizes us as an important part of the wealth and value chain of this country”, stated the president.
Eduardo Leite, governor of Rio Grande do Sul, also highlighted the importance of agribusiness for the State, mentioning government actions and projects for the sector, and citing Expodireto Cotrijal as a demonstration of the entrepreneurial capacity of the people of Rio Grande do Sul. “The fair is a balm of optimism”, praised the government official. “It shows care, brings together technologies and all segments of agriculture, generating wealth for our state”.
For the president of the Legislative Assembly, Adolfo Brito, investment in irrigation is a priority and should receive attention. “Agriculture is fundamental to our state and has our support”, he highlighted.
“The fair has an incredible capacity to renew itself, in all areas, and anticipate what will happen in agriculture. Therefore, everyone must participate”, said federal deputy Pedro Westphalen, representing the Chamber of Deputies at the ceremony.
With the theme “A place for those who plant the future'', Expodireto Cotrijal positions itself as the second home for those who dedicate themselves to land affairs. Producers who do not give up in the face of challenges, whether climate or market.
The advertising campaign highlights that the perseverance of rural producers helps build a prosperous tomorrow for their families, agribusiness and Brazil.
Expodireto Cotrijal is recognized as a fair that brings together the most current in terms of agricultural machinery and implements, plant and animal production and services. On 131 hectares, it also opens up space for family farming, discusses the main topics of interest to agriculture, through forums and lectures in two auditoriums, and brings together foreign and Brazilian companies, with extensive programming in the International Area.
