Embrapa publishes technical note guiding the management of caterpillars in Bt soybeans

The online training in Phytopathology, Epidemiology and Plant Disease Management begins on September 6th, lasting until November 22nd. The event is promoted by the Fundação de Estudos Agrários Luiz de Queiroz (Fealq), and coordinated by professors Nelson Sidnei Massola Junior, Armando Bergamin Filho, Jorge Alberto Marques and Lilian Amorim, all from the department of Phytopathology and Nematology of the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz Queiroz (Esalq/USP).
The objective is to enable interested parties to deepen their knowledge of the principles of phytopathology, causal agents, epidemiology, diagnosis and management strategies for plant diseases, using as a basis the 5th edition of the Manual of Phytopathology Volume 1: Principles and Concepts.
The program will take place from September 6th to November 22nd, 2021, with 45 class hours divided into 12 modules of up to 5 hours each. All content will be made available weekly on Mondays. The course will cover topics related to the principles of phytopathology, causal agents of diseases, disease control strategies in addition to groups of diseases and their management.
