Compass Minerals will present at the 20th edition of Feacoop – Coopercitrus Agribusiness Fair, which takes place from July 29th to August 1st, in Bebedouro (SP), the Supera Nutritional Program, which makes soil fertilizers and seed treatment products available to producers , foliar fertilizers, physiological action products and adjuvants with different technologies. The program stimulates plant metabolism, increases the capacity to absorb and use water and nutrients, reduces the various stresses that occur during crop development and promotes greater expression of production potential, with a portfolio that serves annual and perennial crops.

"The farmer is increasingly technical and we, following this demand, are bringing new technologies in nutrition and plant physiology and innovative ways of delivering nutrients to the main crops in Brazil and South America, with increasing investment in research and development. Technical knowledge will be increasingly important in decision making. The more technology incorporated into a product, the better efficiency and productivity. And that is what we are working towards", states the regional manager for the State of São Paulo at Compass Minerals, Sílvio Birth.

Spraying efficiency

Substances or compounds without phytosanitary properties, except water, which are added in the preparation of syrups with the purpose of increasing effectiveness, facilitating applications and reducing risks, agricultural adjuvants are tools to minimize the variables that compromise crop management. Mixed in water during the preparation of the syrup, providing conditioning, enhancing the spray, in addition to effectiveness, they also stand out as products that benefit the economy: when used well, they allow, for example, the reduction of losses from agricultural pesticides.

"The adjuvant plays a fundamental role. It is part of the spraying system. It is as important as well-regulated equipment and the products that will be used in the spray. It has the function of making the connection between the equipment, climate and products used" , explains Compass Minerals Product Manager, Felipe Pagani. He recommends that the adjuvant be the first to be added to the syrup to condition the water to receive the products that will come later. "It improves the quality of the spray, helps the droplets to leave the equipment and reach the target. It then improves retention, spreading, penetration and application efficiency", he adds.

With different agronomic aspects and operational ease and quality of applications, the Helper line of adjuvants – products for perennial crops, desiccation, fungicide and insecticide applications and also aerial – can be seen by producers who visit the Compass Minerals stand at the 20th Feacoop . It is part of the Supera Nutritional Program and minimizes problems such as drift, evaporation of drops and incompatibility problems in mixtures. In this way, it presents the efficiency of the products applied and contributes to the adequate management of the crop, which results in better performance and increased productivity.
