Nutrien has new Supply Chain Director for operations in Latin America

Carlos Ricardo de Andrade takes office; Andrade comes from a long career in companies such as Monsanto and Bayer

Nutrien - a Canadian agricultural retail multinational - has just announced Carlos Ricardo de Andrade as the new Supply Chain director for Latin America. Andrade comes from a long career in companies such as Monsanto and Bayer, in Manufacturing, Customer Service, Planning, Logistics and Marketing positions, and brings to his skills vast experience in pesticides and seeds. With the aim of continuing the most effective Supply Chain model and intelligent logistics, which allows for greater speed and availability of products at a single point, thus facilitating delivery to customers within agreed deadlines, Andrade will report directly to the president of Nutrien in Latin America, André Dias.

"Throughout my entire career, I have always been at the head of teams, including regional ones, providing guidance at the time of execution and focused on operational management. I am sure that this experience will be of great value to Nutrien, which is growing and developing a retail agile, efficient, more sustainable and connected to the trends and needs of Brazilian farmers”, says Carlos Ricardo.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering School in the city of Piracicaba (SP), the company's new executive has a postgraduate degree in Administration, Costs and Finance from Universidade Metodista. In addition, he also has an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and specialization from Yale University and Washington Jefferson College.
