After crossing low levels, coffee prices rise at the end of 2019
Until the month of October, values were weakened, due to still comfortable supply prospects in the 2019/20 harvest year.
One of the most important and traditional events in agribusiness, always held in the first days of the year, the Field Day of the C.Vale cooperative, in Palotina (PR), continues until January 9th. Aimed at disseminating innovation in the area of inputs to support agricultural productivity, the event features the participation of Nufarm.
According to the company's Trade Marketing Manager, Carlos Amadeu, the brand's presence on the field day is anchored in a portfolio of strategic products for seed treatment and adequate management of weeds, caterpillars and diseases in soybean crops. and corn.
According to Amadeu, in the area of weeds, Nufarm highlights the products ZethaMaxx and Crucial. The first, he says, is used to control invasive plants such as horseweed and sour grass, in desiccation and in the pre-planting of oilseeds. Crucial has double salt technology, which results in a faster effect on weed control.
The same product, reveals Amadeu, works integrated with the Crucial Calculator tool and provides farmers with precise solutions in the development of invasive plant management strategies in different crops. “Crucial is a leader in its segment and has already been used on more than seventy million hectares of Brazilian crops”, emphasizes the executive.
In the area of pest control, Nufarm takes to the C.Vale Field Day the insecticide for treating Inside FS corn seeds, one of the items on the SeedProtection platform. “The product acts to control the green-bellied stink bug and the corn leafhopper”, adds Carlos Amadeu.
Another highlight of the company at the event, in the area of insecticides, is the Compact product, for controlling the caterpillar complex in soybean, corn and cotton crops. According to Amadeu, it is a tool for problem caterpillars such as Spodoptera frugiperda.
The Nufarm stand at C.Vale also has a schedule for technical presentations and field results involving the fungicide Sialex 500. Launched last year, the product works to control diseases of economic relevance in soybeans, including sclerotin rot. .
