Nufarm presents technologies for soy and corn at the Bela$afra 2017 event

Company announces the extension of the registration of the fungicide Rivax and shows the differences between the herbicides Crucial and ZethaMaxx and the insecticide Inside FS

Nufarm presents this week at the Bela$afra 2017 event its portfolio of technologies for soybean and corn crops. The company also announced during the technological meeting in Londrina (PR) that it obtained from official bodies the extension of the registration of the fungicide Rivax to corn crops, for the control of leaf spot and helminthosporiosis diseases.

According to Nufarm, Rivax is a systemic fungicide composed of two mechanisms of action and can be applied preventively and curatively. The product is recommended for managing fungicide resistance in corn crops.

According to Nufarm's Trade Marketing executive manager, agronomist Jeander Costa, the Australian company will also highlight the herbicides Crucial and ZethaMaxx and the insecticide for seed treatment Inside FS.

Crucial, according to the manager, it acts effectively and quickly to control weeds in soybeans and corn, including during rainy periods. “The product’s active ingredient is glyphosate, plus double salt technology and bioactivating surfactants,” he highlights.

Recently launched, the ZethaMaxx herbicide is also described by Nufarm as an input equipped with technology and indicated for the control of weeds in soybeans and beans, both in desiccation for pre-planting and pre-emergence management.

The insecticide for seed treatment Inside FS, another recent launch from Nufarm, has been used successfully in soybean, corn and cotton crops. Its application, according to Carlos Amadeu, regional Trade Marketing manager, does not harm the germination and development of plants. “This is a high-tech solution for controlling the green-bellied corn bug, a pest responsible for the producer's biggest losses in the initial stage of corn", adds the Nufarm agronomist.
