NovoAgro and Epamig take startups to Expocafé in a new innovation space

Between the 24th and 27th of May, ExpoCafé takes place at the Experimental Field of Epamig (Agricultural Research Company of Minas Gerais). The event is one of the main disseminators of technologies in the segment and brings together coffee growers, industry representatives and other stakeholders. The fair includes an exhibition of machines, equipment and inputs for coffee growing, in addition to technical programming and technology demonstrations in the field in person and online.

These solutions are revolutionizing the productive sectors in Brazil and around the world, and are reaching agribusiness with full force, always with the aim of increasing productivity and reducing costs for rural producers, cooperatives and the agroindustry.

Thinking about an even more complete experience for visitors, there will be the Innovative Producer Space, a place for startups to present their technologies and solutions for the coffee market, in order to seek new partnerships.

Taking part in the event will be NovoAgro Ventures, an investment fund in startups that has the Faemg System (Fedação de Agricultura e Pecuária de Minas Gerais) as its main shareholder. Your portfolio will include:

• CertifiCafé: startup that developed an application to simplify the agricultural certification process (Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Orgânico, Fairtrade, 4C, Cafe Practice, Certifica Minas), reducing time and cost;

• Agrorigem: the creator of The Coffee ID solution, which operates in the commercialization of coffees in direct trade for the domestic market and for the export of specialty coffees.

Completing participation in the event, the following will be present as invited startups:

• E-ctare: an AgriFintech that provides anticipation of receivables based on agricultural needs and production. Through the application it is possible to request credit online on demand with processes automated approval processes and a digital account with an integrated payment solution, generation of contracts, CPRs and electronic signatures with monitoring of guarantees for risk control;

• Solusolo: operates in the manufacture and sale of an organic agricultural input using Japanese technology to restore the health of soils degraded by intensive cultivation and agrochemicals.
