Nova Mutum receives ‘MT Foundation in Campo 2019’

Next week Nova Mutum (MT) will host another edition of 'Fundação MT em Campo 2019', between the 24th and 25th of January. The event is free and will be held at the Middle North Learning and Diffusion Center (CDAs), where the MT Foundation's work is carried out in the region and research programs are maintained.

In total, eleven stations with different themes will be presented, in addition to a showcase of soybean cultivars - made with the support of partner companies (new this year). And five panels with validation of the Foundation's research and exhibition of work done in partnership, such as the one developed with the Instituto Mato-grossense de Economia Agropecuária (IMEA) 10 years ago, on economic analysis of the effect of monoculture, succession and crop rotation in a direct planting system on soybean and corn productivity.  

The 'Fundação MT em Campo 2019' brings the theme, 'Integration: the key that opens new horizons', with emphasis on the delivery of new results from research programs developed by the Foundation in Nematode Management (04 years of research), Fertilization Levels in the Soy and Corn System Safrinha (06 years of research) and Crop Rotation System (11 years of research).

Event schedule

The event starts at 7 am, at the MT Foundation Learning and Dissemination Center (CAD-Médio Norte), located on BR 163, at km 619, Fazenda Três Irmãos.

In the morning, the public will be free to check out the stations divided into: Soybean Root Development on Different Cover Plants; Spatial Variability; Nematode Management: Effects of Coverages Associated with Chemical and Biological Products on Soybean Culture; Fertilization Levels in the Soybean/Safrinha Corn System; The influence of Cover Plants on the Disease Complex in Soybean Culture; Chemical Control of Diseases in Soybean Culture; Whitefly Management in Soybean Culture – Cultivar Tolerance and Control. Beyond the Soybean Cultivar Showcase.  

In the afternoon the event resumes with the presentation of two different panels per date. On the 24th, Validation of MT Foundation Research and Economic Analysis of the Effect of Monoculture, Succession and Crop Rotation in a Direct Planting System on Soybean Productivity and Corn – 10-year result. And on the 25th, Biological Products – Theory and Practice e Robotization, Machines, Artificial Intelligence and Innovation – Agriculture of Tomorrow.   

The content presented in the morning is the same on both days of the event (24th and 25th) so that the producer has time to calmly enjoy all the content presented. It is worth remembering that in the afternoon, the panel agenda has a different schedule, making it important for the public to participate on both dates.
