Researcher shows advances in research on the use of remineralizers in soil
He addressed the concepts of remineralization, its effects, strategies for developing solutions and RD&I demands
The Technological Offer Notice 01/2023 was published by Embrapa to select a company to act as operational manager of AgNest Farm Lab, an innovation hub resulting from a public-private partnership between Embrapa, Banco do Brasil, Bayer and Jacto, that make up its management council.
According to Janaina Tanure, deputy head of Transfer and Technology at Embrapa Meio Ambiente, “AgNest is a unique initiative in the country that brings together innovation, but is also a practical space for validating agricultural technologies from rural startups. We want to invite institutions interested in carrying out the operational management of AgNest to participate in the selection process. The selected company will have the opportunity to co-create and manage a unique and disruptive innovation environment for Brazilian agriculture”, she emphasizes.
Relevant subjects must meet the qualification requirements and present the necessary documentation, according to the available notice.
Documents to participate in the process are available on the Research and Development Support Foundation (Faped) website and on the AgNest website, and must be sent to elen.cristina@faped.org.br by January 19, 2024.
AgNest focuses on promoting open innovation and entrepreneurship, offering an environment capable of supporting startups, whether from the ideation phases to commercial operations, with infrastructure and connectivity to carry out operations on different crops. It occupies an experimental area of 66 hectares and follows the plug and play concept, in which startups and partner companies, alone or jointly, can access the living laboratory environment and accelerate the generation of innovations for the sector.
The farm lab is located 10 minutes from Campinas, SP and inserted in the São Paulo Agricultural Innovation Corridor, considered an important hub for science, technology and innovation, with the presence of universities and research institutes, and a specific concentration of companies private companies, accelerators, incubators and investors. It is also just 1h30 from São Paulo, the city with the largest number of agtechs in Brazil.
