After validation by the most renowned researchers (Paulo Henrique Orlandini Fedato – SP; Fernanda Cristina Juliatti, CEO of Juliagro BG&P – MG and Luis Henrique Carregal, phytopathologist and CEO of Agro Carregal Pesquisa e Protecção de Plantas – GO) of soybean diseases in the country, Saori, the only product registered for the control of Asian soybean rust in seed treatment, continues to conquer soybean fields in Brazil. Rural producers can now see in the field the results of using technology against one of the most important soybean diseases.

From January 18th, next Tuesday, farms in the interior of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Goiás will have their doors open so that everyone can see in the field the development of visibly healthier soybeans ready to offer better productivity. to the farmer. See the schedule:

Saori Field Day
Saori Field Day

The first peptide from PREtec technology (Plant Response Elicitor Technology) launched in Brazil, Saori is a biochemical fungicide for seed treatment that stimulates the plant's defense system against foliar diseases, protecting soybeans from germination. Asian soybean rust, caused by the fungus Phakopsora pachyrhizi, is a devastating disease that can lead to crop productivity losses of up to 90%. The cost spent by Brazilian soybean producers on disease control in the 2019/20 harvest alone was US$2,85 billion.

In this harvest, 2021/22, producers can now count on the solution and sustainability that Plant Health Care Brasil (PHC Brasil) brought to soybean cultivation: a biologically natural product for seed treatment, aligned with the highest standards management and conservation of the environment. “PREtec peptides represent a new class of technology that stimulates plant defenses through a physiological action, promoting activation of gene expression”, explains Sergio Almeida, Technical and Regulatory Manager at PHC Brasil. “We observed a 17% to 29% increase in the effectiveness of fungicide control over the disease.”

Demonstrating superior performance in the development of the crop and better growth of the roots and aerial part of the plant, everyone will be able to observe that the areas treated with Saori deliver greater productivity at harvest due to better health of the plant at the end of the harvest, ensuring a return under the investment made by the producer. “It is a pleasure to bring, in an exclusive way, to Brazilian soybean farmers, a new and sustainable technology for controlling diseases in the crop”, reveals Rodrigo de Miranda, general director of Plant Health Care Brasil.
