With high prices, soybean producer resumes negotiations
The current high price levels encourage soybean growers to sell the remaining product from the 2018/19 harvest and the few volumes already available from the 2019/20 season
Protagonist on the export agenda of Mato Grosso do Sul, registering 409% growth in shipments in 2019, corn cultivation takes on new contours in the state with the advancement of genetic improvement and biotechnology in the field, and promises new leaps to meet not only the external demand, as well as the increase in domestic consumption.
Attentive to new solutions to increase productivity and profitability, rural producers will be at Showtec, from January 22nd to 24th, in Maracaju. Held by the MS Foundation, the event features this year's technological innovations with high-performance, stable and healthy hybrids such as FS564, FS575 and FS715, the latter two with great tolerance to the stunting complex in corn.
The demonstration plots also highlight the results of cultivars with wide adaptation in the cerrado for the production of grains and silage, enabling the staggering of planting and harvesting, such as FS533.
“We have been following the significant evolution of Mato Grosso do Sul in corn production and we seek to be increasingly closer to the producer to understand the specificity of their micro-region. We know that there is no point in seeking greater competitiveness, if at the time of investment the hybrid is not suitable for the type of soil, climate and pressure of pests and diseases in the area of operation”, says João Victor Rodrigues da Silva, agronomist and development manager of Forseed market.
The materials presented feature the new PowerCore Ultra technology, as well as PowerCore, for pest control and weed management, as well as Cruiser and Fortenza Duo industrial seed treatment, protecting the crop in its initial stages and allowing the cultivar to express its maximum yield and productivity potential.
On that occasion, it will also be possible to check out the precocious FS633 and FS512, among the best-selling in the region due to their rusticity, health, high production ceiling and grain quality.
