Known as a fertile state for agribusiness, Goiás has its main economic activity in the sector. In this scenario, the overturning of the State Government's veto on the bill that replaced the exclusion zones for aerial spraying within the limits set out in the legislation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) was beneficial for businesspeople and farmers.
The modification of article 11 of State Law No. 19.423/16 reduced the minimum distances from aviation exclusion areas, from up to two thousand meters for what is determined by Normative Instruction No. 02/2008 of Mapa to: 500 meters of towns, cities, towns, neighborhoods, of water collection sources to supply the population; It is 250 meters of water sources.
Important for agricultural aviation and agriculture in Goiás itself, the change contributes to the levels of health and environmental preservation, standards offered by Perfect Flight, a pioneering startup in aerial agricultural monitoring in Brazil through an application.
“After this veto, companies will have to adapt to the new rules and, thus, provide customers with the best service,” says Fernando Rossetti, commercial director at Perfect Flight. According to him, this software contributes to the environment and ensures the sustainable quality of the field.
The director also points out that, with the startup's system, the producer has easy and efficient control of aerial applications, as well as the possibility of creating pre-application maps, through files for the aircraft's GPS.
After collecting data, reports on the pilot's performance, quality of the application carried out and environmental diagnoses are delivered to the farmer. “In addition to the application being within the standards established by the competent bodies, it will be much more efficient and assertive”, says Rossetti.
About Perfect Flight
A reference among agritechs, Perfect Flight promotes, through an application, the analysis of essential data relating to aerial spraying carried out, to identify corrections and/or failures, so that rural producers can honor good partners (employees or companies ), minimize waste, reduce costs, improve control work and aerial applications and, consequently, increase productivity.
In just two years of activity, the company monitored more than one million hectares in Brazil. The application collects data from the applied (external and internal) and non-applied areas and compares them with the physical area, which allows the identification of possible failures.
“The objective is to allow the producer easy and efficient control of aerial applications, as well as the possibility of creating pre-application maps, through files for the aircraft's GPS”, says Perfect Flight's commercial director, Fernando Rossetti.
Still according to him, the tool has already made it possible to diagnose that the main errors in Brazil are excessive overlap and applications outside the correct perimeter. “The success rate is around 70%”, he highlights.
