Even before planting and until harvest, the sprayer is present at all stages of the crop cycle. To facilitate the operation and make the application of pesticides more efficient, Massey Ferguson, a reference in the Brazilian market, developed a new line of sprayers, the MF 500R series, with several technological innovations, which can generate cost savings of more than R$50 thousand at the end of the harvest, in addition to ensuring operational efficiency, application quality and sustainability.

The exclusive LiquidLogic system, for example, in one of its functions recovers the product from the spraying system into the tank after the end of each application or product change, providing savings and sustainability. “It is the first system on the market that brings all unused product from the sprayer piping back to the tank, minimizing waste and environmental impact”, explains Lucas Zanetti, Product Marketing Coordinator of Application Equipment. “The system recirculates the syrup constantly, keeping it homogeneous, improving the quality of the application and reducing tip clogging”, he adds.

Aimed at applying pesticides to the most diverse types of crops and land, the equipment has the Smart Drive transmission, more modern and electronic, which maintains constant speed control in conjunction with the electronic engine, offering fuel savings of more than 30%. The transmission makes it possible to operate on slopes of up to 36%, depending on soil conditions, and to anticipate entry into the field, especially in humid conditions, spraying in 25% less time.

“The Smart Drive transmission is automatic and independent on each wheel, reducing ground movement during curves. Added to the low weight of the machine, compared to others on the market, it offers a much greater traction capacity, with less damage to the ground and farming in humid conditions (after rain or irrigation). Heavier machines without the benefits of Smart Drive need to wait longer to enter the field to avoid the risk of not having traction capacity and damaging soil/crop”, details Zanetti.

Available in the MF 530R models, with a tank capacity of 3.000 liters, and MF 535R, with a tank capacity of 3.500 liters, the equipment has a new section cutting system with electrically driven tips, which offers better precision and agility in opening and closing the application. “There are 36 sections that allow up to 73% less overlap in application, with savings on pesticides and a lower cost per hectare”, highlights the specialist.

The MF 500R line comes standard with the new Massey Guide control and autopilot technology and Massey Ferguson Connect telemetry, a management solution that allows the collection of data from machines so that managers can monitor the operation of the equipment wherever they are and take action. a decision in a simple and agile way. The weather station offers ease and efficiency in decision-making and applications with a productivity gain of more than 10%. All functions can be accessed on a single screen, facilitating and optimizing the operator's work.

Highlight is the new cabin, redesigned to offer more comfort, visibility and noise reduction. It has a pneumatic seat with height adjustment, auxiliary brake for ascents and descents, and all functions and buttons are arranged in an easy and agile way. The lighting system of eight LED headlights on the roof and two more blue LEDs on the bars offers lower energy consumption and better lighting, providing greater safety and quality in nighttime applications.
