New Holland has introduced the new generation of Roll-Belt Plus variable chamber balers, featuring the 180 model, which produces bales up to 1,8 meters in diameter, and the 150 model, with a capacity of up to 1,5 meters. The series features reinforced components and digital solutions to increase throughput and reduce downtime, allowing producers to take advantage of short working windows.
According to Laurent Libbrecht, global director of hay and forage product management, Roll-Belt Plus delivers a smarter, more resilient, and connected solution for farmers seeking performance in challenging conditions and real-time information for decision-making.
The equipment leaves the factory with ISOBUS connectivity, which allows you to activate automation functions such as the complete Stop-Wrap-Eject-Start cycle, reducing operator effort and increasing productivity.
The interface can also be integrated directly into the tractor's display or the brand's monitors, such as the new IntelliView IV Plus, with a color touchscreen, and the IntelliView 12, which adds multitouch commands, faster response and integration with the FieldOps platform.
With this connectivity, managers and operators can access data on each bale and monitor the machine's location in real time, whether in the cab or in the office. New Holland offers two telemetry options: basic, with data available on the FieldOps app or website; and advanced, which includes agronomic information and field maps.
In terms of durability, the Roll-Belt Plus features a new roller design, made of seamless steel and 3,5 times thicker than the previous generation. The bearings are triple-sealed against dirt and contaminants. High-strength chains are standard on the Rotor Cutter and Rotor Feeder versions, focusing on longer service life and lower maintenance costs.
