New edition of the citrus canker manual is available

The new edition of the citrus canker manual, launched at the beginning of June, at the 41st Citrus Week held at the Sylvio Moreira Citriculture Center, is available for download on the website.

The citrus canker manual is a Fundecitrus publication authored by the institution's researcher Franklin Behlau. The material addresses the transmission of the disease, the reproduction cycle of the causative bacteria, symptoms of the disease in leaves, fruits and branches, control and prevention measures, differences with other diseases, diagnosis, and the percentage of fruit drop. The manual also provides details of the legislation in force in São Paulo within the Risk Mitigation System and other information on disease management.
