The Brazilian division of the Italian-Japanese company Sipcam Nichino announces the launch of the biostimulant Stilo Verde. Recommended for most crops in the country, the product contains amino acids and nutrients in the formulation. “These characteristics encourage productivity. They transfer even more vigor to the plants, especially at times when the environment imposes adversities on crops”, says Fabiano Meyer, specialist in market development for biostimulants and herbicides.

The new Stilo Verde is described as an organomineral fertilizer enriched with nutrients that enhance physiological processes in plants. “Field results indicate that Stilo Verde contributes to providing crops with more resistance and increasing their photosynthetic capacity. Such effects help plants cope with stress during the reproductive cycle and tend to increase productivity”, reinforces Meyer.

According to him, data from fields demonstrating the biostimulant attest that, in these areas, corn and soybeans were harvested with heavier grains than those from other treatments. In coffee, in addition to more robust grains, there was a higher yield, as well as in tomatoes, whose crops produced larger fruits. In sugarcane, Stilo® Verde resulted in an increase in the TCH indicator (ton of sugarcane per hectare).

Fabiano Meyer also highlights that the new Stilo Verde will form part of Sipcam Nichino's Biostimulants Technological Platform, also made up of Abyss, Blackjak and Nutex Premium products.

“It is a set of solutions, to be applied alternately, sequentially or complementaryly, in the different phenological phases of Brazilian crops. Together, the platform promotes plants that are more resistant to environmental adversities, activates defense systems, increases the absorption of water and nutrients and favors increased productivity and profitability of properties”, concludes Meyer.
