BASF announced the launch of Xarvio Field Manager for AgBusiness in Brazil and Argentina. The digital platform will be available in 2025. The system is designed to serve agricultural consultants and companies that manage multiple farms and complex operations.
The digital tool offers specific agronomic recommendations for each field, from sowing to harvest. The technology analyzes plant development and indicates pest and disease risks. Graphs, maps, and tables aid decision-making. The data is adapted to local crop conditions.
The system works with the main crops of both countries, such as soybeans, corn, wheat, sugarcane, cotton, and canola. BASF claims the platform promotes more accurate decisions, increases productivity, and reduces the use of inputs. The proposal also includes greater sustainability in agricultural practices.
The Scouting Trips feature allows you to prioritize technical visits based on risk assessments. Consultants can navigate to specific areas using GPS, record observations, add notes, and generate reports. Information can be shared with producers and managers. The feature can be used offline.
The platform can be accessed via computer, tablet, or mobile phone. It adapts to each company's needs and allows integration with existing structures. Users receive training and support from the Xarvio Digital Farming Solutions and BASF teams.
The solution has already been tested in France and Germany. BASF plans to launch it commercially in these countries starting in 2026. The tool has been available in Canada and the United States since early 2025.
Konstantin Kretschun, global leader of BASF Digital Farming, stated that the technology offers a competitive advantage. He said the system was created to address the complexity of modern agribusiness, with advanced data and intuitive features.
