Netafim launches program to train students and recent graduates to work in the irrigation market

Students and recent graduates of Agronomy and Engineering courses (Agricultural, Civil, Water, Environmental or Mechanical) now have the opportunity to qualify for the irrigation market through the Conectando Talentos Program. Created by Netafim, a leading and pioneering company in drip irrigation, the initiative seeks to promote employability in the irrigation market, qualify the workforce of these professionals, integrating theory and practice, and with this, increasingly contribute to the development of Agro.

“It’s the opportunity to develop a career in agribusiness. Irrigation is one of the fastest growing segments and the program will offer essential theoretical and practical concepts, as well as incredible field experience with a real Netafim project. Thus, the participant will be qualified, with much more knowledge and networking to enter the area professionally”, explains Ricardo Almeida, CEO Brazil and Mercosul at Netafim.

The Program will be taught by specialized professionals from Netafim, will have expository and dialogue classes, teaching and support materials, lectures with special guests (University Professors and Consultants with extensive market experience) and practical demonstrations.

“In addition to receiving a certificate of training in localized irrigation, from a company that is a market leader, at the end of the program, we will make the participants' CV available to our main partners”, says Almeida.

Conectando Talentos has 09 modules, more than 20 classes and 02 lectures. There will be more than 50 hours of exclusive content where the participant will learn concepts in sizing projects in localized irrigation; Understand the step-by-step process for installing a project; Learn how to manage irrigation and fertigation; Discover the most modern solutions and products on the world market; Have contact with the best automation and project maintenance practices; Experience a project in practice and in the field and learn more about the irrigated agriculture job market.

Registration will be open from 08/06 to 08/07/22 and those approved in the selection process who register will participate in the Program that runs from August 18 to October 27, 2022 and will be carried out in the hybrid model (online, live and in person at Netafim headquarters in Ribeirão Preto (SP)).
