Embrapa promotes two field days in Maranhão
Embrapa will bring together producers, technicians, extensionists, teachers, students and researchers
Promoted every two years by the Brazilian Society of Weed Science since 1956, and in the 2016 edition jointly organized by Embrapa Soja, State University of Maringá, Pontifical Catholic University of Curitiba, Fundação ABC and State University of Northern Paraná, the XXX Brazilian Congress of Weed Science (CBCPD) will bring together the most current discussions in the area in Brazil and around the world.
For four days, the city of Curitiba (PR) will be the setting for improving the main paths to be followed by producers, businesspeople and scientists. The event will take place from 22 to 26/08/2016, at ExpoUnimed.
Around 1000 traditional participants will be gathered, such as students, businesspeople, teachers and researchers. In addition to these, the XXX CBCPD intends to encourage the arrival of consultants and farmers at the event, in order to strengthen our area's commitment to the productive sector. All these groups will aim to discuss the topic “Weed Science: knowledge and technology at the service of the farmer. The Congress program will be distributed in round tables and panels given by renowned speakers from various research institutions in Brazil and around the world, in addition to oral and poster sessions, for the presentation and discussion of the main research works developed in the area of Plant Science Weeds.
