MWM, an independent manufacturer of diesel engines in Mercosur, extends a supply agreement to Jacto, a Brazilian company that manufactures tractor and self-propelled sprayers, coffee harvesters, self-propelled fertilizer machines and equipment for precision agriculture.

The companies have been partners for 18 years and in total more than 5000 engines have been supplied by MWM.

The propellants that will equip Jacto's UNIPORT 2000 PLUS sprayers will be Series 10, with 126 hp of maximum power, which comply with MAR I emissions legislation. Supply is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2017.

For Thomas Püschel, Director of Sales and Marketing for Engines and Parts at MWM, “the extension of the contract with Jacto is a source of great pride for the entire MWM family, as it demonstrates that we are on the right path, meeting the needs of our customers, in an optimized way, with quality, robust products that meet the new requirements of Brazilian legislation.”

“Jacto is a great partner of MWM. We are satisfied with the evolution of our business, where we envision a long-term relationship, considering both the supply of products for the local market and for export”, highlights Püschel.
