MWM, an independent manufacturer of diesel engines and power generators, is present at the 27th edition of the international agricultural technology in action fair - Agrishow -- which takes place between the 25th and 29th of April, in Ribeirão Preto -- São Paulo. The event will feature the participation of more than 800 brands from Brazil and abroad and expects to bring together more than 150 visitors from the national agricultural production chain to present the main technological innovations in the sector, in order to meet all the demands of rural producers. and, at the same time, increase the competitiveness of the segment.

MWM will present to the public its complete solutions for decarbonization and increased productivity, through bioelectricity plants using biogas, from waste treatment to energy generation and biofertilizer production, as well as the solution for transforming vehicles and machines, originally the diesel, to operate on biomethane and/or natural gas through its new line of engines, in addition to MWM's traditional and renowned lines of spare parts.

MWM solution in decarbonization

Sustainable circular economy
MWM and AUMA Energia developed and launched a complete solution for using waste arising from the production process on the farm, so that both small and large rural producers can completely neutralize the emission of Greenhouse Gases generated by the production process. , obtaining, at the same time, a reduction in operational costs and an increase in productivity. Organic waste is collected, treated, and, through biodigesters and filtration and monitoring systems, is transformed into high-quality biogas to feed its generating sets. For smaller producers, an exclusive and complete solution is being presented at Agrishow, which allows the generation of up to 32 kW | 40kVA of reliable and continuous electrical power, in addition to liquid biofertilizer and high quality fertilizer, which returns to the plantation, closing the carbon cycle.

  MWM Biomethane Solution
In addition to the bioelectricity solution, MWM presents at Agrishow 2022 a complete solution for transforming vehicles and machines originally powered by diesel into biomethane and/or natural gas, through the installation of a complete gas power system, a new engine with exclusive combustion, ensuring the quality of installation/performance and regularization of the vehicle with the competent bodies.
Biomethane is generated from the treatment and purification of biogas, with the removal of waste and non-combustible gases, such as carbon dioxide, and is an excellent alternative for supplying trucks, buses and high-performance agricultural machinery.

In addition to decarbonization, this solution offers multiple benefits, such as:
- 10 to 15% reduction in cost per km driven compared to diesel
- Performance similar to diesel, with engine developed to work exclusively with natural gas and biomethane
- Ease of maintenance: 85% of the components are similar to those used in diesel engines
- Solution allows quick filling of cylinders
- 20% lower noise level than diesel engines
- Engines produced in Brazil

MWM is prepared to meet this demand whether for the rural segment or in large urban centers and customers will have the support and technology of traditional and recognized MWM products and services.

Spare Parts Lines

MWM also exhibits its consolidated and renowned brands of MWM Genuine Parts - developed in accordance with the technical specifications of MWM engines, tested and approved by the company's engineering, respecting the strictest quality standards with ISO 9001 certification and in compliance with the laws environmental. MWM Optional Parts - brings new parts options with a focus on increasing competitiveness, for MWM products and the line of Master Parts® Multibrand Parts - which were developed with the aim of expanding the spare parts portfolio, as well as serving and sell multi-brand products. In the Master Parts® line of parts, MWM has more than 1.200 items available for multi-brand engines. In addition to the traditional lines of parts, MWM now also has a line of MAN Engines Parts, intended for the marine and off-road segments, which are now part of the spare parts portfolio and will be available to consumers at specialized distribution points in the MWM/MAN network.

According to Cristian Malevic -- Director of the Motors and Generators Business Unit at MWM “The use of agricultural and urban waste is becoming increasingly important for environmental and business sustainability, both in the countryside and in cities. MWM presents at Agrishow 2022 some of its main solutions, which meet the growing ESG demand, connecting increased productivity with reduced environmental impact through technologies developed to serve different customers and markets. From small to large rural producers, MWM and Auma Energia present a complete solution for generating electricity and producing fertilizer, so that the client does not need to become a specialist in manure management or biogas production. For the sugar-energy segment, cargo carriers, urban buses and vocational trucks, MWM proposes the transformation of vehicles to use biomethane and natural gas, with a reduction in the cost per kilometer driven and a reduction in Greenhouse Gas emissions.

It is natural that Brazil, the world's food breadbasket and rich in biomass, prioritizes renewable fuels as an important way to decarbonize transport and electricity production, along with other complementary alternatives”, and adds “Collaborate for success of our clients’ business and, at the same time, improving the quality of life of our society is a source of pride for everyone at MWM.”

MWM has produced more than 4,6 million engines in its 69-year history, with exports to more than 45 countries and has an extensive service network with more than 1200 points installed throughout Brazil and the world.
