Cerrado Expedition celebrates 15 years of integration in agribusiness
Agricultural Experimentation Group of Esalq/USP organizes the largest and oldest student expedition in Brazil
The 2024/25 second-crop corn area harvested in Mato Grosso do Sul reached 98,5%, according to data from the Siga-MS project, maintained by Aprosoja. The harvested area to date is 2,07 million hectares.
The northern region is most advanced in its harvest, averaging 99,6%, while the central region is at 99,4%, and the southern region at 98%. Regarding economic data, a bag of soybeans is priced, on average, in Mato Grosso do Sul, at R$123,23, and a bag of corn at R$49,93.
The forecast calls for mostly sunny, cloudy conditions in Mato Grosso do Sul due to the influence of a high-pressure system. Hot and dry weather continues, with high maximum temperatures potentially reaching 42°C in some regions of the state, coupled with low relative humidity, with values expected between 10% and 30%.
