Five years after starting operations in the Brazilian market, the North American company Albaugh celebrates the brand's advancement among farmers' preferences in the post-patent agrochemicals market. The company is among the supporters of the Digital Field Day, which the MS Foundation organizes next Thursday, 11th, with online transmission. Focused on the ongoing 2020-21 harvest, the free event will deal, above all, with soybean production and technologies to support oilseed production.

According to the Central-South commercial director of Albaugh Brasil, Renato Arantes, the presence at the MS Foundation event is linked to the company's recognition of the work of the Mato Grosso do Sul research body. Non-profit, the MS Foundation is focused on research and dissemination of agricultural technology. The entity was created by producers, with the objective of generating and adapting technologies to support the significant increase in cultivated areas in MS.

Arantes also highlights that Albaugh puts its brand on the meeting to reinforce its commitment to producers in that region. According to the executive, the company is carrying out a rapid growth plan through the expansion of its field team, which will be even more present with customers and business partners.

According to José Geraldo Martins dos Santos, marketing and development director at Albaugh, harvest after harvest, the company reinforces its portfolio of post-patent technologies. “For soybean farming, specifically, the company develops new management strategies aimed at effectively controlling Asian rust and end-of-cycle diseases, using the fungicide Reconil, today one of the company’s main products.”

"We have a line of high quality and efficient agrochemicals, the result of the differentiated work we do in the development of special formulations for these renowned active ingredients, which are better adapted to Brazilian conditions and the needs of our farmer", emphasizes Martins dos Santos. According to him, Albaugh is recognized as a reference in quality in the production of post-patent agrochemicals.

To achieve this result, says the executive, Albaugh allocates significant resources to expanding production capacity and diversifying the company's industrial complex in the city of Resende (RJ).

Two high-tech laboratories and two new production units were recently built at the site for the development of fungicides and insecticides. Nowadays, reports Martins dos Santos, Albaugh is the leading company in the production of copper-based fungicides. “Albaugh aims to promote the best cost-benefit ratio in the field, through the delivery of products with high quality and efficiency. The brand has gained strength as the best alternative in the post-patent area.”
