With the presence of larger tractors in the field, the new line was designed with the most demanding producers in relation to productivity in mind, a machine that, due to its high load capacity, allows fewer stops for fueling, greater operational availability and consequently better daily productivity in the field. ”, highlights the company’s CEO, Douglas Peccin. The Taurus Robust was designed to combine high load capacity, high performance, durability and technology. The new line of equipment consists of three load capacity models, 20.000kg, 25.0000kg and 30.000kg. In the company's portfolio until then, the drag distributors had a capacity of up to 12.000kg, and now, with the Robust Line, the producer can count on a load capacity almost 3 times greater compared to the 12.000 model.
This type of implement is mainly recommended for those who want to save on machine hours, since, as highlighted by the company's professional, its high capacity and robustness allow the distributor to work much longer and have to make fewer stops for loading. The company is already preparing a sales campaign for the next few days, so interested customers can guarantee the delivery of the first units to their farm at the beginning of 2021.
To ensure greater agility and precision in the use of the equipment, the models in this line are equipped with on-board precision agriculture, allowing applications to be carried out through variable rate and section shutdown. “Producers have already realized the benefits generated by the technology embedded in implements. The use of technology in the application of fertilizers, for example, is essential to facilitate the regulation of equipment, avoid waste of inputs and monitor operations with accurate information, thus ensuring greater productivity at the lowest cost”, says the CEO of the company, Douglas Peccin.
The removable belt system is also made from 100% stainless steel, making it easy to clean and, as it is made of stainless steel, it does not suffer from the effects of corrosion, which increases the useful life of the system. Developed to work with different products, such as various correctives and fertilizers, the equipment was designed to work all year round
The wheelset was designed with a movement copying grating system, self-compensating conical axles and high flotation tires, which allows greater stability and low soil compaction. In addition, the equipment has an integrated lighting system and cameras, a calibration kit and test trays, stainless steel protective screen, easy-to-cover tarpaulin kit, stainless steel hydraulic piping, automatic section shutdown, polypropylene conveyor rollers with easy fitting system. Following the brand's other lines, the Taurus Robust has a 100% highly durable stainless steel structure, including chassis, increasing the useful life of the equipment, a difference that allows durability without the need for repairs caused by corrosion.
