Mosaic Fertilizers brings to Expodireto Cotrijal 2023 the recently launched Performa Bio, the first solid mineral fertilizer with biological effect in the country with technology that balances, restores and strengthens the soil's microbiota. The product is featured in the video above by Marcos Rodrigues, the company's research manager.

According to information from the company, Performa Bio stimulates the restoration of the activity of beneficial microorganisms in the soil, increasing the absorption capacity and use of nutrients, consequently raising the level of productivity and sustainability of food production systems.

Gains in soybeans were 5,1 bags per hectare and in corn they exceeded 14 bags per hectare (14,7 sc/ha, summer corn). “The numbers show that the investment will be reflected in profitability for the farmer, but also longevity of land use, efficiency and operational income will be notable”, explains Marcos Rodrigues.

In addition to the technology that directly contributes to soil health, the solution has a high-efficiency concentration of phosphorus and sulfur, promoting planting in less time and greater use of nutrients in the crop cycle.

“Plant growth and productivity also depend on adequate nutritional conditions. The combination of environmental stresses with low soil fertility is mainly responsible for impacts on agricultural production”, explains Fernando Hansel, Agronomic Manager at Mosaic Fertilizers.

“As there is no way to control the climate, rural producers must invest in fertilization with efficient solutions and management, as this way plants create mechanisms to tolerate or adapt to stress.”
