Soil nutrition solutions with technological formulation for more productive and profitable sugarcane fields is the highlight of Mosaic Fertilizers, one of the largest producers of combined phosphates and potassium, for Copercana (Sertãozinho - SP, June 27 to 30, 2022).

Correct and conscious fertilization, in addition to ensuring the vegetative development of the sugarcane field, also allows the roots to develop in deeper layers – which is essential in a semi-perennial crop. “As we cannot control the climate, to achieve optimal crop productivity we need to use appropriate technical information and correctly manage the soil and crop. Therefore, the producer needs to invest in synergy between nutrients”, says Maria Luisa Aguiar, Performance Products manager at Mosaic Fertilizers.

To this end, the company developed special product lines, such as Excellen – an exclusive fertilizer based on stabilized urea (46% nitrogen) with urease inhibitor, which reduces losses due to volatilization and generates benefits such as reduced storage costs, improvement in operational management with less loss of inputs during handling, as the granules do not harden, and a reduction in the potential for leaf burning in sugarcane crops. “Nitrogen is one of the nutrients most absorbed by plants and is involved in the formation of structural and metabolic components, being essential for healthy and high-yield crops. Excellen promotes 25% more uniform nitrogen fertilization, saving 20% in machine hours”, explains Maria Luisa.

Along the same lines, MicroEssentials fertilizer has technology for uniform distribution of nutrients from the initial stage of cultivation – when the productive potential of the crop is defined until the end of the crop cycle, guaranteeing essential nutrients for the plant throughout the entire production cycle. Field research confirmed the increase in productivity well above the average in soybeans with more than 3,4 bags/ha, wheat with more than 7 bags/ha, corn with more than 11 bags and sugar cane with an increase of more than XNUMX tons in sugarcane plant.

Also developed to promote productivity increases, Aspire combines two forms of boron with potassium in a single granule for efficient application. Thus, the release of boron is immediate and gradual, throughout the crop cycle, which guarantees an increase of more than 3 bags of soybeans per hectare.

Mosaic Fertilizers' robust soil nutrition portfolio is completed with the Performa Line, which brings together the highest performance technologies developed by the company. “This solution stands out for its versatility and ease of application. The products have a multinutrient formulation so that the crop reaches a new level of productivity, quality and profitability”, says Maria Luisa.

The Performa line has four multicrop products (Neo, Plus, Ultra, Full) and one exclusive for fruit and vegetable crops (HF), with specific characteristics that help reach productivity ceilings. In sugarcane, for example, Performa Plus applied with Excellen can promote an increase in productivity of up to 18 tons per hectare, when compared to conventional management with Nitrate, according to a field in the State of São Paulo.
