Therefore, we are continually evaluating what it means to be a good employer, supplier, neighbor and creator of value”, says Arthur Liacre, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Strategy and Sustainability, at Mosaic Fertilizers.

In 2021, training actions, field days, fairs and other programs involving training in soil health reached more than 220 thousand people, raising awareness about the correct use of fertilizers.

Net zero emissions

Strengthening its commitment and in an effort to manage the most urgent climate risks, Mosaic Fertilizers has the goal of zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from scopes 1 (direct result of the company's own operations) and 2 (indirect emissions, from electrical energy purchased for its own use) until 2040. To this end, the company developed a specific plan to mitigate emissions in its activities – optimizing its processes, operating more efficiently, using renewable energy sources, investing in the replacement of fossil fuels through electrification and equipment and the purchase of energy from renewable sources.
