In accelerated transformation, Mosaic Fertilizers, one of the largest global producers of phosphates and combined potassium, is looking for startups to develop a technological platform for a virtual tour of its operations in Brazil. The selection will be made in a digital challenge format, with support from AEVO. Interested companies can register until September 2nd at website.
“Digital transformation has contributed to the evolution of our processes. We want to apply it to improve the experience of our business partners and we recognize that partnerships with startups can accelerate innovation”, comments Ricardo Ribeiro, Digital Director at Mosaic Fertilizers.
The choice of partner will be made in a few steps. First, a panel made up of members from the Digital, Supplies and IT areas of Mosaic Fertilizandos will pre-select the solutions, with an announcement on September 14th. On September 21st, these startups will participate in a Pitch Day to present ideas for building the platform. The winning solution will be announced by September 28th.
“We encourage the participation of all startups with proposals aimed at building the virtual tour platform, helping Mosaic Fertilizers in its objective of becoming an increasingly innovative and digital company”, adds Júlio César Candido Santos, Digital Innovation manager at company.
Through the platform, Mosaic Fertilizers wants to simplify and innovate the process of technical visits to suppliers at their units, from pricing to purchase, reducing costs and optimizing time with immediate online access to the location to be analyzed. “To send proposals and quotes, the potential supplier will not need to travel to the unit. This reduces professionals’ time and financial resources allocated to evaluating the conditions under which the service will have to be provided”, concludes Júlio.
The system offered must meet some requirements, such as allowing restrictions on which suppliers will have access to certain visit itineraries; limiting access time to company content; integration with the Mosaic Fertilizers bidding system; in addition to interaction for questions and comments. Virtual and/or augmented reality should also be considered.
