Ministry is authorized to appoint 100 tax auditors by the end of the year

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply is authorized to nominate 100 successful candidates who were not invited in the public competition held in 2017 for the position of Federal Agricultural Tax Auditor – Veterinary Doctor. This year's appointments are surplus, as the 2017 selection offered 300 vacancies that were already filled in 2018.

The appointments were authorized by the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, as an additional provision. The ordinance was published this Thursday (21) in the Official Gazette of the Union and establishes that the appointment must take place by December 31, 2019.

The call for those approved was requested from the Ministry of Economy by Minister Tereza Cristina, in March this year. The minister's request was based on decree 6944/09, which allows the appointment of up to 50% of the total original vacancies offered by the notice.

The provision is conditional on the existence of vacancies on the date of appointment and the declaration by Mapa's executive secretariat on the budgetary and financial adequacy of the new expenses with the Annual Budget Law and their compatibility with the Budget Guidelines Law, with demonstration of the origin of the resources.
