Microquimica Tradecorp carries out significant delivery of inoculants to Integrated Cooperative

Microquimica Tradecorp delivered, at the beginning of August, a significant volume of inoculants for soy and corn, which will have the capacity to treat up to 200 thousand hectares of crops in Northern Paraná. The qualified delivery of more than 20 thousand liters took place at the units of Cooperativa Integrada, a partner of the organic products manufacturer, since 1995. The delivery logistics, so that the customer received the products Atmo líquido, Atmo turfoso, Azzofix with total safety and quality and Synflex, required a lot of planning, personalized service and an exclusive delivery model.

This is because inoculants are biological inputs with live microorganisms capable of performing beneficial activities necessary for plant development, such as fixing nitrogen from the air, promoting growth and stimulating the development of plant roots. Therefore, they need good logistical planning, as they must be handled carefully to preserve live and active bacteria. Furthermore, they cannot be stored for a long period of time. Therefore, thinking about the best storage of these live microorganisms, the company made trucks available from its internal fleet, driven by drivers with many years of experience in transporting inoculants. In total, more than 4 thousand kilometers were covered during the 4 days of the logistical action.

Delivery was made to 25 cities in Paraná, the second largest grain producing state in Brazil. With this, even more gains are expected from producers, who will have access to quality products and who have seen increasing demand in recent years, especially in soybeans. The inoculants will be applied in a region that, along with other states, recorded productivity records in the current soybean harvest. This year, Brazil will also achieve, as a whole, a record production of 120,9 million tons of soybeans, in particular due to productivity gains, which reached the third highest historical average. These numbers reflect that the agribusiness market remains optimistic, even in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. "The agribusiness market was not impacted like other sectors due to the pandemic. At the beginning of it, in March, there was enormous concern, but in general there were no major impacts and we are optimistic about achieving our objectives", says Edson Oliveira, Superintendent of Inputs and Technique at the Integrated Cooperative.

He states that there was an initial concern, with caution and many new care protocols. “In fact, this major acquisition has a lot to do with the current situation. Having a programmed, organized and anticipated purchase was a construction of the experiences we had in previous years and which have worked very well now, so that we are not impacted by the lack of inputs at this time we are going through”.

In addition to purchasing in larger volumes, Edson states the importance of having scheduled delivery so that products do not remain stuck in the warehouse. “The ideal is for them to stay here for a short period of time and then be used in the field. What we can evolve in this sense of delivery will be very welcome and easier for all members, who have another guarantee of harvest”, he continues.

For Fabrício Padilha, Inputs Coordinator at the Integrated Cooperative, the acquisition of inoculants in this way also meets the trends in the sector, with producers increasingly looking for new technologies that bring more productivity. “This is the future and we are on the right path with Microquimica Tradecorp,” he says.

"It is a region with very significant soybean production and it is certainly very important for Microquimica Tradecorp to have its inoculants used by farmers, who are more determined and focused on seeking improvements. They want solutions that increase productivity with cost-benefit efficient. That's where our portfolio comes in, since the doses of our inoculants and special fertilizers are low and the yield is high”, he concludes.
