MF 8700 S tractor technology allows it to operate at precise speeds

Developed to maximize the performance of agricultural machines, the MF 8700 S stands out for its robustness, high technology and power and low fuel consumption. Massey Ferguson's largest tractor, a reference in the Brazilian market, increases operational performance by 19%, intelligently combining and dosing speed control, the AGCO Power 6-cylinder engine, front suspension and the Speed ​​Steer system, which speeds up maneuvers and steering wheel steering.

The main differentiator of this series is the Dyna-VT transmission (CVT - Continuously Variable Transmission), which allows the operator to select speed instead of gears. The technology guarantees better tractor performance by programming the correct speed for operation, without the common interruptions in gearboxes. “The tractor operates at speeds between 30 m/h and 42 km/h, allowing greater flexibility, as the machine can work at different speeds at different rotations, providing fuel savings”, explains Eder Pinheiro, Strategic Marketing Coordinator of Massey Tractors Ferguson.

Ideal for planting grains and preparing soil in sugarcane, the model is prepared to work with large implements, has high torque, hydraulic system flow of 205 l/min, front hydraulic lift (as optional) and lift capacity of 4 tons and the 12-ton rear linkage. The front axle suspension allows it to remain supported on the ground, increasing the tractor's traction efficiency by up to 25%. “The tractor is a source of power, therefore it needs to be very versatile, as well as economical and easy to operate. Often the farmer only has one tractor to use for soil preparation, planting, baling and harvesting to help with transportation”, highlights Pinheiro. 

The panoramic cabin with 360° visibility, 30% larger than conventional cabins, offers comfort and safety. All controls are ergonomically positioned on the armrest to the operator's right, facilitating access to the instrument panel and offering greater agility in operation, in addition to Datatronic5 technology that delivers all control of the tractor and autopilot on a single intuitive touch screen. .
